When we arrived in Rio Vista we knew we needed a lift to get Hiraya in the water and a crane to raise her mast. We had watched you tube videos and read about how the lift works. Of course we watched and read about the horrors that could take place. She gets dropped or starts to leak from everywhere when you place them in the water.
We where nervous to say the least. If Hiraya falls we are done before we even start. If she leaks then, yikes. A hole other story. But we have to give credit where credit is due. Terry and his crew at Sierra West Boat Works where awesome. They explained everything that needed to take place. Planned it all out before we began. Made sure we understood the plan. Then like magic they went through their process of getting her in the water.
They knew what they were doing. They communicated well as a crew. They made it look so easy. She was strapped perfectly, lowered gracefully, and most of all did not leak one single drop.
With out Sierra West Boat
We will be back one day. We truly felt we made friends for life. They do amazing boat work too. Works we would not be sitting in front of the Golden Gate Bridge waiting for the sun to rise so that we can begin this chapter of our lives.
100% would recommend them again and again and again. If you need work done it is worth going up the Sacramento River. Check them out the next time you need work done. They are by far the best!
